Remember some simple tips to protect yourself this summer:

The sun is strongest between 10 am – 4 pm. Spend less time outside during these hours.
Use sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher and one that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Cover all exposed areas!
Wear lip balm to protect your lips.
Wear a hat to protect your head and face.
Wear sunglasses that block UV rays.
    Wear light, loose-fitting clothes.
Take breaks in the shade to cool your body temperature.
Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Drink before you feel thirsty!

Remember, these are only ..(read more)

<trackback:ping>http://minteerteam.com/blog/services/trackbacks/15004.aspx</trackback:ping>

Age Appropriate Home Improvements

<created>2008-06-20T07:22:00Z</created><issued>2008-06-20T12:22:00-05:00</issued><modified>2008-06-20T07:22:00Z</modified>

Depending on your neighborhood and the age of your home, certain home improvements can make your home sell faster. MSN Real Estate put out an article on giving your home the right makeover for its age. For instance:

Maintenance: Clean the gutters, wash the windows, repair or replace broken window and door screens, replace broken light bulbs, trim the bushes and paint that fading trim. These are not fun tasks, but they are the first things people notice and are the start to a great outdoor space.

Landscape: Consider both hardscaping and softscaping in your landscape design. Hardscaping includes patios, walls, arbors, gazebos, decks and walkways. Softscaping includes the lawn, flowers, trees and shrubs. Combining the two will bring symmetry and lasting appeal to your space.

Fire & Water: Fire pits are a great focal point on a patio and the perfect gathering place for evening events. ..(read more)

<trackback:ping>http://minteerteam.com/blog/services/trackbacks/14524.aspx</trackback:ping>

Home Staging Secrets

<created>2008-06-05T15:01:00Z</created><issued>2008-06-05T20:01:00-05:00</issued><modified>2008-06-12T10:59:00Z</modified>

Selling your home and want to make it look like a million bucks? HGTV has offered 13 staging secrets used by the home-staging pros to make your home picture perfect. Some of the secrets include:
