The Perot Museum
The Perot Museum is located at 2201 N. Field Street in Dallas and is a great family day out. There are currently special exhibits on The Mineral Beauty of China and Fossils form the Cradle of Humankind. They also have films that show all day of Volcanos in 3D and Tornado Alley in 3D. General Admission is $20 for adults and $13 for Youth ages 2-12. Additionally, there are discounted admission tickets available for educators, law enforcement, and some other groups.
A Day at the Zoo
Both the Dallas and Ft. Worth Zoos offer Spring Break Camps for kids. The Dallas Zoo’s spring break camp is March 7-11th, and the Fort Worth Zoo’s Spring Break Camp is March 14-18th. Additionally, the Fort Worth Zoo has half price admission on Wednesdays!
Six Flags over Texas
Six Flags opening weekend is March 5-6th, and tickets are on sale for only $19.99! Get outside and enjoy the spring weather at Six Flags!
Casa Mañana
Beginning March 20th the theatre in Fort Worth, Casa Mañana is putting on the children’s play “Matilda.” The play will be showing every weekend until April 5th. Click HERE for showtimes and tickets.
Grapevine REC Center
The Grapevine REC is having 2 spring break camps this year: ‘THE REC SPRING BREAK CAMP’ and ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’ Click HERE for pricing, age requirements and availability.
Bedford Boys Ranch Camp
The Bedford Boys Ranch is a having a kids camp for a full week starting March 11th. The camp lasts from 7AM to 6:30 PM and is $102. They will provide a snack, but kids will need to bring a packed lunch.
A Tour at The Star
