April 2017 Housing Market Update for DFW

april 2017

The Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University have released April 2017’s real estate figures!

We’ve rounded up the real estate figures for ColleyvilleGrapevineKellerSouthlake, and surrounding NE Tarrant County towns.

Depending on which city you live in, almost all home sales were up from this time a year ago. The number of home sales and days on market were also up – meaning more homes were on the market and they stayed on the market longer; great for buyers who have been struggling to see homes before they were under contract. However, the number of months of inventory have decreased – showing the high need for homes for the number of buyers and relocation buyers coming into the Dallas-Fort Worth housing market. If you’re thinking about selling, now would be a great time to start looking for your new home before you list.

If you don’t see your city or if you’re curious to know what the potential value of your home is in April 2017 based off of real-time home sales in your neighborhood, visit www.WonderWhatMyHomesWorth.com. As always, we are available to answer any real estate questions that you may have!
