Shopping and Dining
Most of Euless’s favorite restaurants are centered on N. Main St., including North Main BBQ and Saviano’s Italian Kitchen. Euless is just a short drive from both the Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine and the Northeast Mall in Hurst for a broad spectrum of shopping choices ranging from Barnes & Noble to one of the largest Neiman Marcus outlets in the country.
Parks and Recreation
Euless real estate includes a significant amount of park land and open spaces. The Texas Star Golf Course in Euless offers players a challenging course backed by natural woodlands. The 275-acre, championship public course features stacked rock ponds, waterfalls, and serenity unmatched by most of the DFW area. The Children’s Healt StarCenter is a fun indoor ice rink open to the whole family year round with fun themed public skating hours, but also hosts the Hockey Academy and Figure Skating Academy to keep kids active.
Living
Euless real estate appeals to many family budgets and is close to everything the DFW area has to offer. Median home cost in Euless is $255,000 as of 2017. With close to 58,260 residents, Euless is the most highly populated of the three cities. Known as “Tree City USA,” Euless is also the host of the annual Arbor Daze celebration of trees. The award-winning festival is one of the most acclaimed in the state. It takes place each year in the spring.
Schools, Health, Transportation
With 15 elementary schools, six junior high schools, and six high schools, the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District is one of the largest suburban school districts in Texas. It is also one of the most highly rated, with schools in the top 10% nationwide. Harmony Science Academy is a charter school in Euless that offers a comprehensive college preparatory program that emphasizes science, mathematics, and technology. St. Vincent’s School in Bedford is a Christian school that teaches children from pre-K through grade 12. For higher education, the The University of Texas at Arlington is close to all three cities.
The cities’ prime location in the DFW area means Euless residents have their choice of facilities for medical care. Castle Connolly is located in Hurst. The Texas Health Harris Methodist Hurst-Euless-Bedford Hospital is located in Bedford. North Hills Hospital is nearby in North Richland Hills. The Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Grapevine is about six miles from Euless, and the Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital is just seven miles from Bedford. Cook Children’s Pediatrics Hurst provides pediatric urgent care, diagnostic imaging, and surgical services to the region’s children.
The Trinity Railway Express runs right through the Mid-Cities area and offers regular commuter rail service to both Fort Worth and Dallas. There also are two Amtrak stations within 20 miles of Bedford and Euless (one in Fort Worth and one in Dallas), and the Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport is less than 10 miles away.
