Several private schools are located in and around town, including Coram Deo Academy and Primrose School of NE Flower Mound. Those pursuing higher education near Flower Mound can study at Deloitte University in Westlake, The University of Texas at Arlington, or one of the many universities located nearby in Dallas.
Health care institutions located around Flower Mound includes Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Flower Mound, the Medical Center of Lewisville located to the east in Lewisville, the Carrolton Regional Medical Center, and the Texas Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington.
For intercity transportation services, residents of Flower Mound real estate can head into both Dallas and Carrollton for Greyhound service or Dallas for Amtrak service from the station located on South Houston Street. The closest airport to Flower Mound is the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Denton County Transportation Authority is an easy several miles to the east in Lewisville and provides transportation to Denton in the North and transfers to DART with routes to Plano and Dallas.
