At a recent city council meeting, the Grapevine Parks & Recreation director Chris Smith briefed the city on the first phase of construction for the development of Settler’s Park. The first phase will cost roughly $3.3 million and will span 15 acres, with a multipurpose concrete trail, a soft-surface trail, a fishing pier, a boardwalk and picnic area, restrooms, a pavilion and lake overlook, parking, and park signage.
