Late last month, the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD trustees approved replacing synthetic athletic field turf, in conjunction with other updates, at local three middle schools. The fields are used by both school sports teams and community organizations, including football, soccer, and lacrosse.

What you need to know:

• Colleyville, Grapevine, and Heritage Middle Schools are receiving the upgrades.
• The project also includes re-striping tracks, adding jump pit covers, and adding lacrosse lines at GMS and HMS.
• Completion is expected on July 15 for Colleyville and Heritage Middle Schools and July 22 for Grapevine Middle School.
