New Climate Plan Could Reduce Tarrant County’s Air Pollutants

The North Central Texas County of Governments has submitted a Priority Climate Action Plan to the Environmental Protection Agency in hopes of improving the air quality throughout North Texas. 

This plan was a collaborative effort from more than 30 local governments in the region as part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Air Quality Improvement Plan. It covers the next five years and includes 42 actional measures, including initiatives related to funding infrastructure for low-emission and electric vehicles, incentivizing commercial and industrial solar projects, and promoting clean energy finance programs.
