The Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University have released October 2016’s real estate figures!
We’ve rounded up the real estate figures for Colleyville, Grapevine, Keller, Southlake, and surrounding NE Tarrant County towns. With 396 NEW people moving to the DFW Metroplex per DAY (according to the US Census Bureau), here’s how things are shaping up.
Since last month, home prices have mostly declined except for in Hurst, Keller, and North Richland Hills. Generally, the days on market and number of sales have also declined slightly, which reflects the slower fall and winter season. But the good news for buyers? The months of inventory has declined as well meaning there isn’t enough homes for sale for the amount of buyers looking for a home. If you’re thinking about selling and thinking about waiting until the spring, now could be a great time to list it before the holidays.
Looking at this time last year, home prices are still mostly on the rise along with the number of home sales while days on market have lessened. However, the months inventory have increased, slowly rising to a balanced market.
