The Colleyville City Council is bringing back its holiday programs to encourage shopping locally and help businesses. The programs include:

• Colleyville’s Gift Card Program – The city will deliver two rounds of $35 gift cards for certain restaurants and businesses in Colleyville — one that will be distributed in mid-November for Black Friday shopping and a second that will be distributed in mid-December for Christmas shopping.
• Colleyville Gives – Companies receive a $1,000 grant for an advertising campaign during the holiday season and they can receive an additional $1,000 grant if they make a $500 donation to an area nonprofit.
